By accessing and using Roomailo ("the App"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Roomailo is a household management application that enables users to:

  • Track and split shared expenses among household members
  • Manage shared grocery lists
  • Coordinate household activities and payments
  • Communicate with household members

3. User Accounts

To use Roomailo, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account
  • Not share your account with others

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any illegal purpose
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Upload malicious code or viruses
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the App
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Collect or store personal data of other users without consent

5. Financial Transactions

Roomailo is a tool for tracking and organizing shared expenses. We do not process actual payments or financial transactions. Users are responsible for settling payments among themselves outside of the App. We are not liable for any disputes regarding payments or expenses.

6. Content and Data

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the App. By using Roomailo, you grant us a license to:

  • Store and display your content within the App
  • Share your content with other household members as you direct
  • Use aggregated, anonymized data to improve our services

7. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

8. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Roomailo and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the App.

9. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING:

  • Warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
  • Warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, or availability
  • Warranties that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROOMAILO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

11. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service. You may also delete your account at any time through the App or by visiting our Data Deletion page.

Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease, and we will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
